About Me.

Doneisha Posey has forged a successful career as a Business Leader, Civil Rights Attorney, and DEI Thought Leader with a passion for increasing representation, creating opportunity and creating access for historically underrepresented communities.

She is the President and CEO of Impacto Strategies, a premier consulting firm that partners with organizations to provide culturally competent tools and guidance. She is also the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Black Onyx Management. ​

Doneisha has worked in corporate, higher education, and government sectors with one purpose - creating a more equitable and inclusive environment. She holds a position at Indiana University McKinney School of Law as an adjunct professor teaching racial justice courses. She is former Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Belonging for Ivy Tech Community College, the nation’s largest singly-accredited community college.

 

Doneisha's impactful work has not gone unnoticed. Her commitment to community has prompted several accolades, including the Indiana University McKinney School of Law Early Career Achievement award, the inaugural Indianapolis Business Journal Diversity in Law award, and recognition for DEI Leadership in the Latino community with the Campeón DEIB award from Prospanica Indianapolis. She has also been honored as one of IBJ's Forty Under 40 and named among Indy's Best and Brightest in the Education/Nonprofit sector and many more.

Doneisha has turned her passion into purpose as the Co-Founder of Women’s Equity Brunch and is frequently consulting on matters of the intersections of race and the law, pay equity for women of color, leadership for people of color, and civil rights issues - past and present. Black and Latina women make up less than 5% of all lawyers, Doneisha is passionate about increasing diversity in the law and encourages the inclusion of women in male-dominated sectors.
